Summary:

The HVAC Install Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and routine maintenance on residential and light commercial equipment/systems. Must be reliable, able to manage timing and scheduling, be able to communicate clearly, and have a great attitude.


Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

  • Inspect the effectiveness and safety of current customers HVAC system.
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing customers ventilation, air conditioning systems, and equipment.
  • Diagnosing HVAC systems for electrical and mechanical defects.
  • Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
  • Maintaining a detailed inventory of all HVAC equipment and resources.
  • Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Participate in all technical training.
  • Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements.
  • Receive all materials and equipment required for each job, confirm and load them into company vehicle.
  • Ensure all paperwork needed for each job is accurately filled out.
  • Carry out readings on machines with the full understanding of the implication of such readings.
  • Ensure assigned company vehicle is kept clean.

Requirements:

• 2+ Years of HVAC Experience

• Maintain open communication with company staff and customer in a professional manner.

• Understand and efficiently use basic computer hardware and software.

• Maintain a clean, safe driving record.

• Passionate about contributing as an individual and loves winning as a team.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.

• Regularly required to work around operating equipment, work in confined spaces, stand for long periods

of time, walk, reach, stoop, crawl, twist, bend and climb ladders.
